Looking back as the waves of time move away
Do you know the tears that come to the heart?

Looking back as the sun sets over the sea
Do you know the sorrows that Warriors feel?

Looking back as the horses race across the plain
Do you know the dreams that inspire a man?

Looking back as the arrows fill the azure horizon
Do you know the sacrifices that Chiefs make?

Looking back as the war cries echo over and over
Do you know the lives claimed by love and war?

Looking back as the bullets scatter the grass
Do you know the evil that greed can bring?

Looking back as the blood stains the sandy creek
Do you know the things that history hides from you?

Looking back as the winter snow falls over the dead
Do you know the world that was here long before?

Looking back as the smoke rises to the sky
Do you know the emotions that haunt a spirit?

Looking back as the ashes drift to the wind
Do you know the memories that give no rest?

Looking back as the paint melts in the icy river
Do you know the broken pieces that remain lost?
